Rick Kirschner

Rick Kirschner

Executive Director & General Manager

Rick envisioned Kaos (Our former station)  in Peterborough and has worked hard to see it become real. He is passionate about young people and redeeming the media as a form of positive communication. So much of the media concentrates on the worst of humanity; 91.1 The Bridge aims to provide hope instead. As the Executive Director, Rick works a lot of overtime - but he loves spending time with his wife and kids and is very proud of his children: Nathan, Sarah and Elizabeth.

Jill Edwards

On-Air Personalities

Steph Seidel

Steph Seidel

The Bright Side 6-10am

Born and raised in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Steph is loving the community vibe in Fort McMurray!  A former youth pastor, English Lit major and long time server, shes used to talking and story telling and its hard to stay a stranger when she's around.  She loves board-games, coffee and travelling.  The board-games she loves with friends, the coffee she loves in the morning, afternoon and evening and the travel she loves any day of the week.  She's a texture person when it comes to food and has an honest fear of mustard and mushy fruit.  She's always got a song stuck in her head but she tries really hard not to sing the same line out loud over and over.  Her life goal is to make you laugh - and it helps that ridiculous things seem to happen to her on the regular.  Steph moved here in Septmeber 2016 and her favourite saying is 'Make like a shark and attack the day!'

Radio Dave

Radio Dave

Evenings 7 to Midnight

'Radio Dave' or Dave Pollard got his start in radio in 2008 after an internal conflict of working in the oil sands not feeding his need for spiritual fulfillment. After quitting his job as a pump-operator, an open-call was put out in a KAOS flyer for an on-air personality and his wife at the time spotted it and pointed it out to him. Dave was a natural clown and always had funny things to say so she suggested he apply for the job. Dave was hesitant because he A) never had any broadcasting experience and B) never had any broadcasting EDUCATION, but happy-wife, happy-life so Dave went an applied. Much to his surprise he got the job and thus began the start of the greatest career decision he had ever made in his life.

"Radio Dave" quickly became a Fort McMurray name for a while things were great! Until they weren't, as Dave's marriage began to fall apart. Due to things like pride, spiritual immaturity, and simply just getting married too young, Dave and his wife got divorced and he did anything but handle it well. Dave began to spiral downward INSTANTLY, leading to a life of alcohol and drug abuse, sexual immorality, a general apathy for everything, using his "Radio Dave" name and talents for worldly purposes and an absolute abandonment of God and the spiritual life he had grown up with.

For 7 long and painful years this went on. Until one day at the end of May 2016, just after the wildfires, Dave had had enough. He had lost everything in his life that meant anything to him and knew the only way to really turn the tide and have a life worth living was to give everything back to God 100% and give Him ABSOLUTE control of his life. Which he did. IMMEDIATELY his life began to turn around. Dave moved back to Fort McMurray and began working with KAOS once more. The last job he had before turning away from God, was right there ready to take him back as he turned BACK to God. His ex-wife (now a great and close friend) moved back to Fort McMurray with their two children restoring his kids back into his life. He quit drugs and drinking and turned to a life of abstinence. He started going to the gym and taking care of his body. He even started playing drums in church again, something he hadn't done in the better part of a decade. Thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Power and Authority, Dave's life quickly became something he could be proud. Dave now lives with his parents here in Fort McMurray while his fiance and her two boys live in house nearby, waiting to get married and make their lives one. He's the producer and evening host at 91.1 The Bridge, 7pm - Midnight every weeknight and working towards a special overnight show to focus on depression and suicide. And for the first time in his life, he's happy, and he's fulfilled; because he's finally put God first, and in control of his life. "
