Don't Get Ticketed Over Coffee
March 13, 2015 | Jeremy "JD" DeRaadt
If you're on your morning or afternoon coffee break, it's likely coffee is on the mind. It's also likely that Tim Hortons may be a quick stop you'll be making before getting back to work. By all means, get your extra caffiene boost, but don't stay on Thickwood Boulevard when the traffic backs up, or you'll be receiving a ticket and demerits.
The Edmonton Sun reported that a $172 dollar fine and 2 demerits will be awarded to thirsty coffee seekers. It's dangerous having traffic backed up on Thickwood Blvd, and RCMP won't be allowing it anymore. So if you'd prefer not to deal with that... then park, and head inside the store for your coffee.
